I've just stuck it on ebay, starting bid what I paid for it so what will be will be. Although looking at it this morning with the sun shining on it, I realised what a great colour it is, so wont be too disappointed if it doesn't go.

Yes, very happy. Shame the Bobcat needs more attention than I can give it at the moment, the frame looks great. I'm not bothered about the paint on the Kona, i'll keep it mechanically sound but it will be a 'chuckinthebackofthevanandabuse' type of bike!

£14 for the kona, £10 for the Marin. Had to put pedals on the kona, and about half an hour tinkering to get it usable. Very tatty paint.

Cheers for that. I suspected as much. It's had new crank bearings, but to be honest its the faded red paint I like!

Re: Only by taking a wrong turn, it actually wasn't as muddy as I expected. The mud on my back is because I landed in a puddle on one of my falls. Will be going back and doing a bit more exploring.
