    Geoffrey Butler 1987

Not sure how or when it arrived. I bought it off a friend who wanted a matching pair of GB track and road bikes. This frame was too small for him. Most likely, somebody emigrated and brought the bike with them. Back then, we did have a lot of local builders but there were also a fair few British

    Geoffrey Butler 1987

Hi from Australia. This is my 1987 Geoffrey Butler road bike. Fairly new to me - I have had a 1951 Claud in the past. Picked it up as a frame/ fork and built up with 6400 tri-colour. I'm unsure if the paint is original but I have replaced the decals as they weren't in good condition. Campagnolo...

    Colnago C40 Lampre - mk 1

Re: Lovely looking frame but too new looking for 7400. 10s carbon titanium record would suit it in my opinion. I'm building up a Colnago mega master with this group atm.

    Australian Geoff Scott

Re: Group is 9s Shimano. Cranks are 7700DA, Shifters and calipers are 105, rd is 6500 Ultegra and fd is 7400DA. Frame, I think is from late 80s. Geoff wasn't able to confirm without seeing it but Sydney is 900km away.

    Australian Geoff Scott

My Geoff Scott. Bought this frame just recently. Built it up using whatever parts I had spare. Since then, I have stripped and repainted the frame to stop rust from damaging the steel. I took the seat/headtube decals off and they won't stick back on so will try some spray adhesive. I like the...

Re: I've had this bike for about eight years and done lots of miles on it. Less so lately due to riding my steels. Original DA7700 group, Easton circuit wheels with gatorskins, Specialized adjustable angle stem, Selle SLR saddle, carbon post. Weighs in at 8.6 kg complete. 1999 frame build.

Re: Greetings from aus. I think that they're a respected enough classic to hold their value. The performance of the frame is really good too. Nice and tight. Will post up my CAAD4 DA7700 when it's light. Tony

Re: My '75 PX-10LE. By this stage as you can see, they don't have the intricate nervex lugs. Earlier versions of this model had these lugs painted black. I think they look better white but the older lugs look great in black. My bike is mostly original except for the clincher conversion and...

    Peugeot PX10

Re: Mine is 1975 so has a decal on the headtube. Still has the original paint and decals. In the past, I've used Velocals from the states. They have been good. Cyclomondo here in Australia can generally match up what you need too. Tony
