Just took a wobbly Shimano UN52 English threaded square taper out of mine. The thing to remember is that the crank you go for will dictate what size BB to use. Check Sheldon Browns table of Bottom bracket sizes for various cranks. http://www.sheldonbrown.com/bbsize.html. The BB shell will be 68mm

Is that a gash in the chain stay? Well it is steel so at least you can weld it.

Had a an oria aluminium frame nice and light, was a little too big for me mind. Build up as 5 speed commuter whilst living in London with crap wheels but was still light. I think they're alright and it only cost 10 quid for the frame so cannot complain. I think there's a photo of it in...

I second 26.4, seat post. I gave away my 19.5 inch as it was too long in the top tube. Been considering trying to get it back but really I want another in 17.5.

My previous 1 inch headset was loose in my Vitus roadie frame. I then discovered that 1 inch JIS (japanese standard) versus euro 1 inch is different. The euro 1 inch is larger and fits fine. Of course this could all be roadie only nonsense...

So i've just bought a job lot of hubs 2 unknown 3 speeds and 3 torpedo duomatics. This could get expensive I want to learn to build wheels and am now considering a stand. Any thoughts on what wheels to build with the duomatics. How much strain does a hub brake arm put on a chainstay?

Second the sash clamp and throw the headset cups in the freezer for an hour or two it will shrink them. Handfit them before and after you will see the difference.
