Nice, keep me posted on the rebuild. I have found that my 20" frame I have is actually a not long enough for me now given that I've got a 70mm stem on it, so I've had to wack the seat back as far as it goes - just shows that they were designed for long stems I think.

Looks bang on original except for pedals and wheels from what I can see. Although I have a black seatpost. Those Kore stems and bars are very light too from what I recall. Does the fork still operate well?

Re: Thanks for that, spent a while picking out the bits to make it right. Indeed it is an Outback, a bit mountain biker cliche' but suits me fine. Just before the ugly model!

Re: Hi guys, just took this rig for a cruise on the weekend. Unfortunately the trails sucked, but was once again happy with the bike. Haven't got around to resolving the brake line issue, but will soon. Here are some more pics.

Re: True, I haven't cut them- same for the front one. I don't have a bleed kit so I cant chop them yet. Might go to the LBS. Rides just as I remember- stiff, with good balance front to rear. Just a bit slacker than it originally was as its a 100mm fork vs the 75mm Z2 that it came with from the...

Re: Actually the seatpost clamp is integrated- so painted with the frame- is this unusual? The headset was a bit of a risk, but I found a cheap used Chris King in good condition, so thought Id risk it.
