Time warp Europa built page 8.

Ah yes, I bought a Dynatech Pro frameset from this very site actually.

Where I am? Croydon? :-) Edit: Sorry, with you now. Retrobike.com

Time warp Europa built page 8.

My race bike is good for it's intended purpose (racing), but a pain to live with for anything more than about 30 miles. Hence the retro steel bike I'm building; this site is very inspiring.

...but just the ticket for those of us who race and want to be competitive.

Time warp Europa built page 8.

My dad has the exact same bike in parents' garage. In search of my retro Raleigh build, it crossed my mind very briefly to go with the convenience of using it; after reading the above, I'm glad I avoided it. Granted, I do love the paint job though and yours polishes up beautifully. Just put...

    Di2 onto retro steel frame.

Must admit, I'm reluctant to drill the frame for that very reason; which is why I've now plumped for this: http://xshifter.com/

    Di2 onto retro steel frame.

Think I've duplicated this thread somewhere else. Anyway, yes I know of eTap, but I already have the di2 which I cobbled together second hand and modified. It's cost me a fraction of what eTap costs. This is tempting me though: http://xshifter.com/

    Feedback thread for kingoffootball

Faultless transaction with Will. Great communication with frameset exactly as described. Packaging was above and beyond. Recommended.

    Di2 onto retro steel frame.

I already have the Di2 stuff, that I cobbled together for a fraction of what eTap would cost.

    Di2 onto retro steel frame.

Re: Thanks, and yes, I'm no stranger to the fun of fishing internal cables through frames.

    Di2 onto retro steel frame.

Re: Brilliant link, thanks. I'm doing a lot of hacking of the Di2 myself, so very interested in this guy's work; sequential shifting...wow.

    Di2 onto retro steel frame.

I'm planning on doing the above. The first obvious problem is getting the 5mm cables to pass into the frame; do redundant/empty downtube shifter bosses leave a hole that passes into the frame that a di2 cable could be threaded through? I'd need one hole at the front near headtube, and one at...

Ah, so forks might be some consolation.

Re: Am I right in thinking no 531 frame would have a seat tube ID of 25mm?

    Frame identification. "Shimano 531c"

First digit is very hard to read; I think it's 09003491 Frame alone weighs 2.6kg
