Well, I managed to find a bit of time to do some shed today. I ran out of daylight to finish the beer can fish scales, but I think the effect is going to be good judging by the first few rows.

    Bargain basement Carbon CX build

Should be an easy job. Worth buying your own riveting tool in my opinion. I bought a Forge one about 20 years ago for about £10 and I've used it lots of times.

Hog Tie them Tresspassing E bikers : )

When I lived in a remote part of North Wales I had shotguns pointed at me by farmers when I was trying to ride perfectly legal bridleways. It happened on three occasions in different locations. One of the f****s even had the bridleway signs in a skip in his farmyard. Another pointed his gun at...

Hog Tie them Tresspassing E bikers : )

Hard to decide who I like less in this. Ideally, this situation would replicated across the country until all the aggressive farmers were in jail having tied up all the criminal scamps in barns around the UK.

    Covering Hi-Vis, what's the point?

I also see lots of cyclists riding with saddle/bar bags that cover lights. I cover my bike in high vis/reflective stickers. This has been a game changer for my road night riding. It flashes and I've covered it in reflective leopard print. Cars can see me for miles and give me lots of space.

That is a 26" geax TNT saguaro tubeless. One of the finest tyres ever made in my opinion.

Thank you. I was inspired by a friend who'd done a similar thing with tetrapacks. I used the guillotine to slice the ends off then cut them out a few at a time with some sturdy old scissors. Hoping to get them in place over the weekend. I'm tempted by @bikeworkshop Roman tiles idea of...

    Buckingham Pallets

Well, my thinking was that pallets provide ready-made section of wall. The only problem is that the space I had to work in wasn't neatly pallet-sized. To backtrack a bit, here are a couple of photos I put in videojetman's original thread, showing the build "process", haphazard as it was 😁...

Thank you. I know what you mean about the regular flimsy garden shed. I'm not sure building with pallets makes for the most efficient use of a small space, but any would-be burglar is going to have to get through about a foot of wall (pallet, insulation, 2x layer of OSB (internally and...

Late coming to this thread. I love your work!

Here to provide some comfort and support to you. In my defence, it's only the hallway and the loft that are a little bike heavy at present Spent last night slicing up old cans in preparation for the fishscale cladding on the front of the shed to protect it from the prevailing weather. This...

Thank you. The neighbours are on board, though I did reduce the height of it a bit in line with their wishes. They weren't so keen on the shanty tower chic, casting a shadow over their nice garden (and in fairness neither was I). My bike stuff is scattered all over the house, but largely in a...

    Buckingham Pallets

I felt bad for hijacking the thread started by @videojetman His work is beautifully designed and meticulously executed. Mine is a bit more making it up as I go along incorporating whatever materials I can scavenge. Anyway, I wanted to build a shed in the back garden and to make it from...
