UK trail bike. The story of an XCT5.

Tastefully done and looking as it was assembled out of the box. I wonder if you managed to replace the shock body or if you had the coating chemically treated?

    1998 Kona Stab

I second this opinion as well. RST's are nothing but problems.

Street Robbery (Warning pics are horrific)

Re: I reckon that most people have misconceptions regarding drug policies in Portugal. Law-enforcement agencies may slack on prosecuting drug addicts but that doesn't mean it's so very easy and affordable to get hold of narcotics in first place. I've been assaulted by drug addicts in the past...

    New project - Pace RC500 F2

Re: Can't really explain why but square tubing always screamed "high-tech" in my mind... ...even-though the bike industry opted for hydro-forming... Anyways it's a beautiful piece of mountain-bike history, congratulations on that acquisition! :)

DMR Bolt - a hooligan bike!

Re: Have you scaled it recently? I've been curious to know if it's feasible to configure a lightweight enduro/freeride bike without sacrificing comfort and durability of the lightweight parts that go along with it.

GT STS Lobo : retromodern built, full carbon components..

Re: GT STS Lobo 99 : retromodern built, full carbon components.. Why didn't you opted for a modern DH bike? Not that GT Lobo isn't a remarkable frame but i'm curious to know why you didn't chose your build around a modern geometry instead..?

Sunn DH *Bike (pedaless, quad "like" tires, yellow frame)

I'm looking for information about this trike mentioned in the topic. I remember seeing it as a showpiece in the store where i bought my first bike (around '98 or '99). I'm not sure if it was commercialized but it was very cool and one awesome marketing stunt from the brand... ...thanks in...

    ZOOM components

I'm not sure if this is the very same brand that manufactures suspensions. If so, my advice is to avoid them. They look cheap and they are prone problems.

    '98 Marin Team DH F.R.S - Finished!

Re: '98 Marin Team DH F.R.S I have fond memories of this frame! First time i went downhill with my supermarket hardtail the guy in front of me was riding one of these. Cleared my way never to be seen again yet i still hold some pride in it, i cleared the run with plastic cantilevers and a...

    GT LTS 3000DS (1999 I think!)

I don't see why people brag about expensive Fox Kashima Coated suspensions. They are lighter that Marzocchi alright but on the downside they are kind of stiff and require more maintenance. Not to mention that kashima coating is prone to fading and re-coating costs a small fortune. I guess trends...
