Thanks! I see what you mean re: brakes but I don’t think that would help unless I take off the front brace but I’m pretty sure the forks have RJ have both braces fitted. The clearance is between the pin that holds the spring on the v-brake catching the fork brace... see pic...

I have the original brake mounts that came with the forks from new.... and they've had v-brakes on before; but I just can't get any of the brakes I have to clear properly.

Any idea of postage for the wheelset? PM me please
