This is odd; you’re not the first to have said this but I’m convinced it’s not. I had a 19” (pictured) and it was slightly too big for me at the time.
If you compare the length of seatpost showing on both, there’s much more exposed on the newer bike; also the seat stay / top tube intersects...
On the FB marketplace - probably worth it for the forks alone!

I'm sadly selling my '92 Orange Prestige to clear some space in the garage.
The frame was an eBay buy, then stripped and powder coated satin black, with decals from Gil. It's an earlier model than the graphics suggest; I wanted to replicate my original '94 Prestige that I snapped down-hilling...
Hi all,
Been a RB member for ages but only just tonight discovered this group!
Live right next to the Pentlands at Bonaly, SW Edinburgh and can often be found tinkering in my garage on my '92 Orange Prestige. Built it up and showed on the forum a while back but it's metamorphosed into a road...
Thanks!
I see what you mean re: brakes but I don’t think that would help unless I take off the front brace but I’m pretty sure the forks have RJ have both braces fitted. The clearance is between the pin that holds the spring on the v-brake catching the fork brace... see pic...
Re: 17" Prestige

It's a '92 but I've taken a liberty in the decals (thanks Gil!) as I wanted to recreate the '94 that I had back in the day.
The rest is a mix of M900/ M737, Hope hubs and Ti...
I'm looking for a set of inner chainring bolts to go on my FC-M900 chainset so they need to be the longer 13.5mm ones.
Anyone got a spare set lying about?
I have the original brake mounts that came with the forks from new.... and they've had v-brakes on before; but I just can't get any of the brakes I have to clear properly.
