Wanted red 700c wheels 8 speed plus

Okay, probably too much then as I'm after £180 posted, they are in amazing condition though, rear is as not far shy off new, no marks at all on the freehub and the braking surface is unworn with just a few marks to hint of some use if you look really closely. Front has more wear but braking...

    Factory wheels, recommendations please

I have a pair of Mavic SSC (the non SL variant), they are bullet proof IMHO, I've generally been over 95kg since 2000 (up to 107kg in 2014 and still rode them), bought mine new in 2002-3 ish and though not used much they are superb. I also love my Heliums too. Thinking of selling the SSCs...

which V brakes best for road Tourer?

TRP mini Vs, they work fantastically with Ultegra 6700 series, even the bike shop commented on how good they were, I use them on an audax cum tourer with ceramic rim on the front for when it's really wet, not that I have a problem on alloy rims anyway tbh just that I picked up a new dura...

    La Vie Claire Goodies

I sold my La Vie Claire saddle this year, it'd done me many years in the 90s but the material was torn and the rails a bit crusty but was otherwise rideable, the design was/is a thing of beauty. I know it's a work of art but c'mon man you just gotta build that up and ride it!

I had some Red S 86mm BCD cranks, thought they looked lovely, also have some NOS Red S levers fitted to my Carlton which i really really love the look of. My Carlton has gone through 4 or 5 builds including DA 8speed with STIs, I've even popped on some carbon wheels for a laugh. Tryiing to leave...

    WTD 1" threadless stem

you know that you can use the 1 1/8 stems with a proper shim, a lot of them came with the shim as std in the box when they first started with the bigger diameter fork steerer.
