Bought this a few months ago, but finally got round to rebuilding it When I bought it Stripped down Seatpost was seized. Changed cables, bottom bracket, tyres, chain, chainrings, cassette, grips, bar ends, brake pads, pedals, bottle cage, seatpost and seat. Everything else is original...

Re: Update time Finished the build last night. Decals off Gil. Deore rear mech instead of the original Altus A10. STX levers/shifters.

Cheers Have spotted a couple of runs :oops:. Can hardly notice them unless you look hard for them. I'm hoping after the lacquer goes on and then the decals, they won't stand out

Re: Update time Stripped the bike down to clean the frame. After cleaning it all down it was still looking a bit sorry for itself. So decided to have a go at painting the frame and fork. Here is the result. Don't think it's a bad match Couldn't get the bottom bracket out, so masked around...

Help. I'm in the process of rebuilding my 93' Palisade Trail and I would like to replace a few of the spokes on both wheels. Can anyone tell me what size I need please? The rims and hubs are original, if that helps Thanks in advance

Re: Managed to source another Shimano STX brake/gear lever for a tenna. Was gonna keep it original and get another Altus lever, but I prefer the STX levers anyway

Re: Maybe the camera angle. There don't seem to be much difference in them and the ones on my 96 Bear Valley. I can't see any signs of paint cracking either

Re: Had a bit of time to look the bike over. It's gonna need new cables, new headset, new decals, new grips and a bit of surface rust removed. Think I may repaint the stem and bars. Also it has 2 different brake/gear levers at the moment.
