All I see are rehashed opinions and inflammatory remarks. As usual.

Been on here a couple of years now. Not noticed much building, buying, selling, riding, karma or bike advice from you in that time. Just this kind of thing when you appear to be looking to wind things up.

Post count us an old cheap shot.

Perhaps you don't understand that not everyone is here to pass on common sense, nor narrate their daily life.

One or two of those who run this site rarely post about their day to day life, so what should we make of that?

You are a terribly negative individual; and of course you would not know about any karma I have been involved in because I don't make a show of it like most.

You strike me as one who merely discovered bikes in the last few years and are insistent on dominating every node you explore.

I have been all around the world on bikes, and all around the globe in life. You come over as a severely restricted little child.

Troll?

Come on guys let's start again, we are all here ultimately as we do in whatever way it may be have a thing for RetroBikes and aspire to collect build and restore them. Who knows some may even be ridden.

Yes some of us have more money/ help in doing this but that shouldn't stop those bikes being shown and even entered in competitions.
The voting is open to everyone and you can show your opinion with that vote.

Happy trails and wrap up it's bloody freezing and muddy out there ;)

How anyone could make real money buying and selling old bike parts is beyond me.

Opportunity Cost!

Just out of curiosity DT...how much $ have you invested in your collection and what would you let it go for today?....well I guess that takes the breathe out of that side of that arguement?

Not even close to the high standard that has been set, but here it goes anyway

My 96 Bear Valley
To paraphrase: 'The more I look at that, the more I like it.'

It is just a nice, neat, well proportioned mountain bike.

Hi All

Here's my Under Dog, so much so I just had to create a thread for it in order to host a few more pictures

viewtopic.php?f=6&p=2364441#p2364441

never entered before, and I'm doing so with a bike that for the past few years lay largely forgotten and uncared for.

After a great aquantance with Autosolve and Teecut for the frame I bring you .. Spuds 1990 TBG Splatter Paint Cindercone complete with Suntour groupset

Love, Slate or Hate it ...... its an honest bike and a keeper

and I ain't gonna pull it and walk off in a huff

I almost want you to use blue elastomers to balance the blue cable ends or one red and one blue... Not that they made red ones.

Bugger .... the silver Onza's I ride with are shod with Blue elastomers, just popped some NOS black Onza's for the shots I took today before the sun went down...

Can't ride with the clear/pale grey ones as they're to weak and the black ones to stiff

you live and learn I guess :D
