    Do you think so I would of thought if that was the case it would show up on the chrome. I have had a good look and I can't see any bending of the frame or stretching or cracking of the forks. Thanks for the info.

    Hi All, I am trying to find out what these fittings are for on my Triumph Cyclone. One set is situated by the back wheel and the other is a thread which is close to the bottom bracket . I would like to know what they are used for as I have not seen these on any of my other bikes.

    shiftets If this bike has double brazed on shifters whch have been hacked off is it common to have two for the age of the bike seeing that it has been suggested that it has a grease nipple it maybe from the 1950/60s.

    friction shifters With ref to shifters l think that they were brazed on shifters that had been file off. is it easy to get them put back on as I have also noticed that the bottom bracket looks likeit had a brazed cable guide which has also been hacked off fo some reason.
