Help with Identification of bike

Outer cable ran from the cable stop to the front mech........rather like outer cable runs from the chainstay stop to the rear mech on most bikes

Are the little raised bumps on the down tube the remanants of cable guides for handlebar end shifters?

Look like brazed on downshifter bosses filed off.......the levers look too close to the head tube to be in the right position.

friction shifters

With ref to shifters l think that they were brazed on shifters that had been file off. is it easy to get them put back on as I have also noticed that the bottom bracket looks likeit had a brazed cable guide which has also been hacked off fo some reason.

Also note the grease nipple for the B/B...would suggest '50's/60's?

If this bike has double brazed on shifters whch have been hacked off is it common to have two for the age of the bike seeing that it has been suggested that it has a grease nipple it maybe from the 1950/60s.
