Anyone know of a source for replacement shocks, or replacements for the flexstem? The replacement I bought for the rear was supposed to fit but doesn't.

Fair enough, you can't argue with that! My memory isn't what it used to be these days, but am fairly sure I bought the bike in tail end of 1990. Which would make sense if it was one of the first on sale in Autumn of that year.

That's probably right. Are you sure it's a 1991? I thought the last number of the Proflex product names corresponded to the year it was made - like a 753 is from 1993..

Yes, my other half has given me ultimatum on shed space though.. It may be a choice between keeping the Proflex and a 2011 full susser I have my eye on! Decisions! It's weird seeing a photo of another 750 - have never seen another in the flesh. Wonder how many are still going...
