    Mine has the Mountain Equipment tag. It was certainly a lot better quality than the red Pace racing fleeces that came later, although the windproof training shells were pretty good and still cut the mustard (whether cycling or running)

    I forgot how eyewateringly expensive they were at the time. Did I actually pay that? They did look the part though, although they were rather heavy. And to think I gave mine away as spares with my old bike. I'm trying to recover it so I hope the current owner isn't reading this....

    pace frame sizing?

    I had a 20 inch frame and although I'm 6 2 it was huge. The top tube length (in 1995) was very stretched and they didn't do dropped top tubes to increase standover. I suspect (with hindsight) that I'd have gotten away with an 18 inch frame with long (ish) seatpost and mid length stem. I think...

    Early 90's Pace Lycra Shorts...

    I've still got my Pace fleece with the green and purple flashes on the sleeves bought around 1992 (if I remember that far back). Got a great review at the time and is still warm and toasty even now at the Puffer. I'll post a photo (without the sad dad in it though)
