Your build looks like it's coming along nicely, good to see another one of these in this colour, I got mine as a new old stock from the states a couple of years back (I couldn't dream of affording it back in the day) and love it :lol:

STS XCR 1000 Decals 1999 I have just had to practically sell a kidney to get them but I managed to get a brand new old stock set of these decals from Germany! :D :D :D :D Before I go and stick them on is there any one out there who would be interested in a set?

Can you honestly imagine one of the 'leading' mountain bike magazines in the uk coming up with anything else? Theres no way on earth that they are going to or even be allowed to publish an article suggesting that a bike that's 12 years old is better than what gt or anybody else are producing...

I'd have a Lobo any day over that Fury thing, real American quality rather than Taiwanese c**p! I bet there won't be any of them knocking about in 12-13 years time or perhaps even 3-4 for another MBUK comparison :lol: :lol: :lol:

That looks awesome, the frame is mint! I used to own a y2k 4 banger which was pretty much the same frame- just blue and shorter travel but ended parting with it and regretted it ever since :cry: Still got a spare carbon swingarm, chain stays and few other odd bits for it if any one needs...

I have recently just rebuilt one of these with an almost original spec, just a few things I have changed one of which was the original stem (Azonic ORC) and handlebar - I still have the bar if you need one, its a GT XCR branded black alloy riser Seat post was a Thomson Elite and is a 31.6...

These went silly price, £53 did anybody here get them as I would love to get a set if they could be scanned at all :wink:
