Seems to have taken ages but the STS is finished :D Many thanks to fellow Retobikers who have supplied parts for this, full story is bought off Ebay as VGC with full XTR, eventually turned up nearly 2 weeks later in terrible mess with selection of mostly worn out LX kit and Tektro v brakes...

Just got some new decals for mine from Gil to finish the bike off - Tip top quality too although the closest he could provide for the XCR was the STS DH ones which are pretty close to say the least - just the font of the STS letters that look different really The decals on mine were barely...

The STS XCR is FINISHED :D A full spec and pictures will be posted as soon as I have taken it for its maiden voyage - just to make sure nothing breaks :lol:

Ideal for the vertically challenged rider! :lol: I know from having ridden those Force bikes that they are pretty big though, the ground clearance is huge although not too long in the reach

What can I say? Top class service from Gil, GT STS decals are Superb, quick to reply to emails, fast delivery and packaged really well Will no doubt be back for more on the inevitable next project :lol:

Pretty sure my friends 98 regular Zaskar 14.5" was made in usa with Easton 6061 tubing? Deffo had a sticker on it saying as much anyway!!
