For me its about motivation for losing weight, i've been rebuilding my old xc machine since oct, and once i'm down to 14 stone i'll allow myself to ride her, until then i treat her to presents from evil bay instead of buying pasties :)

Thanks for posting these pic, i wasn't there in 91 but raced the classic in 92 and 93 and still rate it as my best memories in mountain biking, pasta parites, lake jumping . . . Bring back the classic!!!!!, can anyone tell when was the last year and why did it stop?

Good topic, i've been looking at changing my everyday bike (as not happy with me spes) and can't find a single bike that hits the spot, as for hates got to be TREK, mynchiboy got it spot on with making Kleins boring and pasting Bontrager everywhere, shame.
