Hello all still loads of stems left in most of the long sizes polished black and a random grey one all the stems we have left the stickers are not very good but would be easy to get some better ones made all stems come with the top cap and bolt and the wedge and bolt can also supply a shim so...

1.95 should be ok with a 1.7 tube but it depends some tubes we have at work are tiny when inflated some are masif depends on the brand

have a look on the mavic website and try find a rim the same dimentions as yours then get some stickers made up its cheating but it my be the only way!

The normal common way is to get a good flat edge or ruler on the rim surface and measure the deepest gap if its 1mm or more there worn bad but when they split depends how thick the sidewall is and what pressures you run ! Ive seen rims peel off like the lid of a can !
