Thanks for that. It also has the 'later' plastic cable guide under the bottom bracket rather than the two slots that the cable runs through (eventually ruining the bottom bracket).With this info I am led to beleive that it is infact a 'resprayed' Panasonic frame in 753T - off course I am open...

It is a genuine SBDU 753 I have had the bike a few years and it is genuine and no part of the frame has been replaced. The rear wheel is not off center - it is just the angle of the photo.My Panasonic SBDU built for me by G'o' Donavan in 1985 as a time trial special also has these rear stays.

Where can you get the 'GovD transfers - both mine are a bit 'shabby' on my frames and could do with renewing !

On my 1980's Raleigh the rear brake cable goes through 2 braze on guides along the top tube so it doesn't have outer cable inbetween.What I am after is the two ends that fit over the outer cable ends and is 'stepped down' to slot into the guides and be held firmly in position - does anyone know...

After a 27mm Super Record seatpost for my 1982 Team 753 Raleigh. I have a Record one at present but I cannot seem to find a Super Record one - do they exist ??? :?

Many thanks for the replies. It's the alloy Super Record one that I'm after for my Ti Raleigh 753 build. The one on Ebay in the states is italian threading so no good :( Will keep an eye out an if need be get an alloy C Record one and fit that to my Raleigh Panasonic 753 and fit the SR one...
