    Certainly in the early days it was cool, I remember drooling over the latest kit and to have others drooling over my "Dale" wherever I went on it.... Is it cool today? Probably not, the sport is now so fragmented that you need different bikes for different types of riding.... BITD we did it all...

    Just bought my daughter one from Halfords, not the best quality but its ok at the price, I would have loved to get the Specialised one but have just bought a new P7 so was short of funds....
