What are the most iconic suspension forks? which have been important in MTB history?

i think myself:
- Rock Shox 1
- Rock Shox mag 21
- Suspenders (upside down)
- Manitou 1
- AMP
- Lawwill Leader
- Girvin Vector

did i forget something? i am sure i did ;)
Please tell me why a fork is or was important to you

I'd say Manitou Ones in the looks department............or maybe LOOK Forunales for teh niche sexxay appeal. :p

Pace RC35's would be my choice, had great performance for their time and also looked the best but Mag 21's would come a close 2nd.

Z1 Bombers. In copper or black.

and Pace. Their old composite & CNC designs still look cool today.

For me the Marzocchi Bomber Z1 is number 1 by a long long way.

a) because it worked so much better than anything before, and
b) because they are bulletproof in terms of reliability.

For me it'd be RC35's, Mag 20's and Manitou 1's as they were the forks I remember starting it all off. Yes, I know there were models out before these but they didn't seem to catch on like the big 3. Remember the debate about which was best like it was yesterday.

2nd choice would be the original Judy's as everyone seemed to think they moved the game on in a big way.
