    Marin Eldridge Grade: 622 tires to 26" frame: Update 1

    Well, update 1 continues after more than year. Finally I got something to ride. Fork is 28". Wheels are 28". Tires are 32- 622. So front brakepads are now correctly placed. Rear pads are in "tuned position". ;) Pedals I will change to something else. Rear derailleur needs cable. Bit wondering...

    Re: Re: One of the reasons why to go with 28" fork. Then pads would be in right position.

    Just want to share. :) Found maybe solution for brakes and "long enough pads vertical adjustment": Tektro RBP 866. After short try of brakes I think I am going to still change fork to 28" because front brakes felt a bit "flexing" when braking hard. Reason might be distance between pads and...

    Marin eldridge grade 1992? Saved from being dumped. Still needs to figure out 700c winter tyres+ original brakes. :wink:
