Hi Chaps, I'm after a HRM that I can also swim in as I'm so unfit it's unbelievable. Looking around there's so many of them I'm getting confused so I'd rather hear peoples personal experience than trust a review in a mag. Also I don't want one that uses a chest strap, just a wrist mounted one...

Re: We've been using Smorgasbords on our 29ers - Inbred and an El Mariachi - and they might not be light but they do grip very well. We have heavy, claggy clay round here and they work as well as anything else we've tried. Not sure if the magazines rate them but I use Bontrager Mud X's, Nobby...

Re: My Generation is 18.5 and I'm 5' 10" but I reckon the 17.5 should be fine. A friend of mine who is a couple of inches taller than me used to ride an 18.5" frame Dekerf and it was spot on for him. If it's the one that's been on ebay please buy it before my marriage ends in divorce.....
