There were a couple of slight dents in the top tube and some chainsuck scuffs. Nowt a blowtorch and some silver braze couldn't sort out!

Yes, there should be a damping unit in those forks as far as I know. IIRC it should be a sealed plastic cartridge. Kits are £27.50 plus £4 postage but if you want 2 kits I can do those for £54 posted

Looks like someone upgraded to type 2 and then fitted dowels when the elastomers wore out. You'd be better off staying with the type 2 setup and I can supply elastomers to suit. I can supply type 1 but you will need the judy jax spacers which might be a nightmare to source

They are quite easy to do and you can get all the kit from Risse in the US. I've just serviced a Terminator for someone else's Obed so I can offer the service if required. Hi, I think the Mach5s use the standard 19mm diameter MCUs as per the XVerts etc. so that should be no problem. I'd just need to know your weight in kg so I can tailor the elastomer rates for you. Cheers John
