Re:
WOW! Gold'ish Yellow decals on Firecracker Red!? That came out nice
*edit* On that cable clamp, maybe put some Hockey Tape on the underside of that clamp and trim the overage with razor or something for clean look?
Re:
Yeap, IMO they run a little on the small side even though the front triangle looks stretched out. at a little over 6'1 my 19" is a tad small even with a long quill stem.
I'll sell off mine when a find a bigger frame.
Re:
Lucky You.
My P2 Fork is threaded right to the top of the Impact headset, No extra period! I would keep it long? Never know when you might decide on a different headset.
Looking Good!
Re:
Stunning for sure, the welds almost look like sanded cannondale style or that's some thick firecracker Red paint.
Square chain-stays
Good stuff! Thanks for sharing :D
Re:
I actually liked the Cruiser bars, but that "BIG'OL Cracker" seat got to go! :P
You might wanna to check that Bottom Bracket, every single 15+ year old MINT Steel bike I ever bought had a ton of rust in that area after removing it, though the rest of the bike was Like-New!
Re:
WOW!
I'd get another fork, looks to be a good size grove
Nothing worse than a Fork snapping off and kissing ground.
*edit* Is that groove on the front side of the forks? They gotta flex back too when you hit bumps and whatnot
Re:
No build thread
Basically it was so minty that I just threw a set of my GT Zaskar wheels on it and a Vintage Turbine Race Face crank set-up in 1x9 with a XTR rear drivetrain, XT-M738 V-brakes and down the road I went in about an hour
I'd post some pic's but...
Re:
Looks SICK!
Though any tolerance slop between teeth and the drive-shaft? it'll be a strip fest. You need a guard over the shaft and rear cassette.
Road only, wouldn't even try to off-road that, Twig's, Rocks/Pebbles, Mud whatever.
