    Ruined? Hei Hei

I think it's pretty good . I was thinking of doing it to mine but was put off by the cost of the whole project - wheels , brakes , fork on top of the framework . I'd rather put the cash into a (more...) modern bike . If i had it , of course .

Hei hei - back from the dead !

Definitely B18 - I'm only 5'8" and ride 16 or 18 Konas . It's a little taller than my 16" Cindercone but very close in length (i should take a tape measure to them....) . 19 would be like riding a farm gate for my little legs 😃 The year is confirmed as 95 ; i rode it that summer when the...

Hei hei - back from the dead !

Yes it was ! I just wish i had done it in the spring so i could have ridden it a bit more ; now it's all shiny and clean I'm loathe to get it muddy - that's what my Cindercone is for - and the trails round here will be like the Somme until spring . Still , i can look at it everyday ....🤗

Hei hei - back from the dead !

Excellent. I haven't listed them yet but I've seen they go alright . Something i discovered when i was looking for my chain and cassette that actually puzzled me was an unused , never-been-laced XTR front hub . I have no idea how i came to have it - i always rode XT or Hope after my initial...

Hei hei - back from the dead !

My first conversation on here ! I couldn't figure out how to message him...duh ...😃 The XTRs were seized up - i never maintained them and they went through 7 winters ....maybe they are retrievable but i can't be bothered . I was going to put them on the bay of evil with a 99p start but I'm open...

Hei hei - back from the dead !

After being thrashed into the ground (over 30k miles....) it was dismantled around 2009 /10 . The fork was serviced by Tim (Fork English) and....was never reassembled . Until three weeks ago . I had the foresight to stash a new XT cassette and a couple of Dura-Ace chains twenty years ago , i...

Re: Resizing ? Image sharing sites ?!! Not from this stone age phone or with my short patience, i'm afraid ! :-D Size ; aha. I'd forgotten that critical point. It's smaller than my bike which i know is a 54 so i'd guess 52 ? It would work for someone around 5'4"-5'6"
