Re: Moots YBB 1999 Please move this wrong thread. sorry. Thanks :) I'm glad you like it. In defense of the forks it's my poor photography making them look bad, they're rather fantastic forks. With the Fox F100X I enjoyed the ride (they're good forks) but the bike didn't look or handle...

Your dropout is probably sinking into one of the legs... thus making one leg shorter than the other, I've seen it before on the carbon Crosslinks/Noleens. The alu piece at the end of the leg (dropouts) came unbonded. Can ask at work if it's fixable (I work at a carbon fiber shop)

The bike is the smallest one I think, about 16", but I'm 6 feet tall, hardly a giant, but frame feels rather tiny. I wish you the best of luck, and I'm sure you're extremely excited to have the Amp, but 6' for a 16"frame????? I'm 5'9" and I'm selling my 16.75" Litespeed since it was too...

if you wet sand the carbon fiber first so the paint has something to stick to then you should be fine. just had to do my carbon fiber wing the same way. you can then proceed to clear or paint it just like anything else.

Yeah I have some 99s and they're noodley so I went to the Look Fournales... night and day. I weigh 140lbs or a little less and with the Sid it felt like the front hub would "flop" when you'd be cutting corners, at first I thought it was the hub but it turned out it was the fork.
