Hi all When i was out with the dog last weekend i saw a family riding in the Dover woods Angmering and the girl out in front was riding a lovely Alpinestars t24 or 26 , just wondered if it was anyone from here ? :D Paul

Re: Great job 8) I have a really rough one of those but it just rides great , i did start off with gripshift but but soon binned it and went back to Shimano . Pretty much what i have done every time i have ever used it over the past 25 years :lol: Paul

Re: Re: That’s great info cheers :D the damper seems to have drained out so it knackered ? There are so many videos about on it but some seem to put oil in from the bottom while others put it in the top so it’s all a bit confusing ! Last forks I worked on were mag 21s or Judys :lol: Paul

Re: Hi and welcome :D Im no expert but it looks pretty original apart from maybe tyres ? , I have a Cinder cone " hack bike " from the same year and it rides great . As for brake blocks i have used both Aztec and Cool stop blocks in the past and found them better than the stock low end...
