Saddle comfort - Turbo vs Unicanitor

The bike seems to have a steep seat angle. That´s when short width saddles like Turbos and Flites feel better. I usually see Unicanitors on laidback seat angle bikes like Potts and Cunninghams. That´s my take and it´s slightly subjective. I will not chose a saddle based on looks.

Steel Frame/Fork Battle: Fat vs Kona

Konas have longer head tubes hence the dropping top tube is more noticeable. Ride wise what makes the big difference is the numbers of wheelbase, chainstays, head angle, seat angle and BB drop. I never rode a Kona but Fat Chances ride beautifully in tight woods trails.

Beautifull color scheme on the wicked! And team comps.... i melt all over team comps. Btw i also have a steel Ibis Mojo. The rear triangle absorbs more of trail noise than the wicked but when i am dealing w/ technical tight steep trails i rather have the wicked.

You feel it´s more comfortable and i can´t disagre w/ feel. But to say it was designed for touring and comfort... i dont think that´s true. They were known as fast almost twitchy bikes, used for racing, designed for quick and intuitive handling on steep, rocky, rutted singletrack. The wicked...

    Show us your FAT CHANCE

From 1997 untill 1991, Wickeds were the high performance bikes on the Fat City Cycles line up. Designed for quick handling on east coast trails.... not comfort.

Do you find Yos less stable than wickeds? Quicker? The lower rake should give it more stability at high speeds but this is theory. The ride experience matters more.

NIce teal wicked. Seems wiceds and vintage MTBs in general are low trail. I wonder how well they would ride w/ rack and luggage up front.

Make it a "rider´s" month: photos should show dirt and daily use. No garage queens. Avoid catalog specs.

Isn’t this XT post a rare commodity?

No. Dozens of thousands of units of that thing were produced... It may be expensive but rare it is not.
