Canti pad set up - what tricks do you use?

Thos who ride 2.3 tires and regularly pull their wheels off the bike for any reason have met the flaw of v brakes: lack of clearance. Cantis don´t have this problem.
Also avid v brake pads are nasty against rims. i hav lost more than on beautifull mavic rim to the grinding compound of those avid v brakes.
Well set cantis give me power and modulation.
Unless it´s raining on a cold day. Then it´s discs or leave cycling alone.

I don't have any mechanical tips apart from maybe a third hand tool . If the brake set up is pissing you off, have a sit down and a nice cup of tea . Allow yourself plenty of time and laugh at your own mechanical ineptitude you will get there eventually with a few curses thrown in .
