I bought a 2nd hand M952 Ti cassette but it hasn’t come with a lock ring. Can I use any Shimano lock ring or does it need to be specific?

A genuine shimano lockring generally has the number of teeth stamped on it - 11 or 12.
It's obvious though, the size is different
