Hi everyone, picked up this Mavic hub at a jumble the other day for £5. What have I got? Feels solid with no play and has lots of engagment points. I think it's an Aksium but there are other Aksium hubs that have Aksium decals on them where as this one just says Mavic. I think its 11 speed. Cheers

After buying a 14" and 16" frame (thinking my current bike was 16", but it actually turned out to be 18") I'm now after a 17" or 18" frameset/complete bike for my touring build. I current have a 95 Lava dome (16") and 96 Hahanna (18") so another Kona would be preffered. Cheers.

Super neat! Will have a look at this. Think I'm just going to drill out my dog collar off of my Hahanna and try insert one of those ferrules into it that @bikeworkshop suggested. I do have a 3D printer so I could perhaps design something, but I don't think plastic will hold up that well.

Also did some more work on the frame, this time with T-Cut. Looking somewhat better than before.

Polished the crankset... Didn't realise the rabbit hole I'd began until it was too late. Did it mostly by hand until the drill attachments arrived and took a whole tube of Autosol. Interesting how my phone makes them look XTR gray.
