I have to say my home town builder, Mercians have always been my favourite. From the age of eleven I had a hankering to own one . First one was purchased at 16 after many hours of holiday jobs . Frame only and assembled by myself. Sadly I sold it a few years later . Fast forward about 18...

Shaving time. Gel type is idea for removing oil and scurf from clothes and carpets. Has saved my bacon many a time after bringing it in on my shoes ! :rolleyes: It is also useful for cleaning up dirty handle bar tape . Use only a little.

Looking at e bay last evening. The large number of old bikes for sale without stating a frame size was interesting, other than it fits the seller? .The prices also reflect a long past market.

Well after 15 years we have given up our plot . The missus had lost interest and my desire for digging had ebbed . Time to find another hobby other than restoring and riding bikes . Some from of art I am thinking.

The on line bicycle museum has a whole section dedicated to H Rensch/ Paris bicycles. You will definitely ID your frame from it .

I reckon they may of been added later .

Market is depressed at the moment. So not good time to sell . I would build it up and enjoy riding it . Frames built by Harry Rensch/ Paris rarely come along .is it your size ?

Without my Catalogue I am shooting in the dark a bit . So as far as I can tell that it maybe a variation of a champion de Monde or the Professional model. If you search under Harry Rensch bicycles there are a lot of pictures to compare your frame to

Harry Rensch who also marketed his frames under the Paris marque did some custom builds AFAIK .
