I have to say my home town builder, Mercians have always been my favourite.
From the age of eleven I had a hankering to own one . First one was purchased at 16 after many hours of holiday jobs . Frame only and assembled by myself. Sadly I sold it a few years later . Fast forward about 18...

Looking at e bay last evening. The large number of old bikes for sale without stating a frame size was interesting, other than it fits the seller? .The prices also reflect a long past market.
Well after 15 years we have given up our plot . The missus had lost interest and my desire for digging had ebbed . Time to find another hobby other than restoring and riding bikes .
