It was all going so well, but then the plastic wheel spoiled the party
Love all the other versions though!
It's a conversation starter for sure. I like it but it feels like I'm riding on borrowed time putting my faith in 20+ year old thermoplasticSJS still sell these I think. I think they're made by Jtek.
Cheap compared to the Nitto stuff but some bending required!

I think out of all of them I liked the build with the 650b Pacenti Brevet wheels and the Ritchey Coyote bars the most. I was basically living on that bike at the time though, so it could be I just became super familiar with the setup.
I'm on the fence about Ultradynamicos... They basically float over trails but the light casings feel like they're made out of tissue paper. Went through the grey pair on both wheels in about 6 months. Just come back from a bike ride with a puncture in the front red Mars tyre.

The Swiss Army knife of bikes indeed! Love all the experimentation. I think the first version is my fave, with the ultra short stem and drop bars. I’d be interested to know what those black v-brakes are?

I stole them off my MB4 to put on another bike, but I'd love to eventually source another set.
