What price to pay for a good chromoly GT frame like Avalanche, Bravado or Karakoram?

Well, I have another new part for my Bravado, with thanks to henrysthreeironbands for letting me buy the GT Flip Flop stem of him to complete this build. I didn't waste time to fit this as soon as it got delivered this morning. Very Happy indeed!
I am going to wait until the snow has completely disappeared before taking my Bravado out for a ride again as I don't want it getting wrecked.
It is a very sweet looking bike, if I may say so myself. And it rides as sweet as it looks.

I hope you have enjoyed this thread as much as I have enjoyed creating it and the process of this bike build and I would like to thank you all for your input and participation.!

I know I was chuffed when I finally got (and repainted) the right stem for my Avalanche. It really bring the bike together nicely

Now that the temperatures have risen by a reasonable amount to clear the snow up north I have been out on my Bravado today and thoroughly enjoyed the ride, the stem has given me a little more height up front compared to the stem I had on it before and made it a bit easier on my back.
I absolutely love this bike and it was well worth the wait for certain parts and the money spent (more than intended but I don't care)!

A quick update, I have just fitted some new shifters/levers combo after finally making up my mind that I still wanted some Shimano M095's on this bike.
So I bought a set on eBay only for it arrive damaged in post, not sellers fault as I had inspected the photos carefully. Anyway, I got in touch with the seller and explained the situation and agreed on a part refund as I still wanted to keep the brake levers as only the shifter pods suffered damage in the post! So another set was bought, arrived yesterday and swapped over the shifter pods and fitted to my beloved Bravado.
I still love the XT thumbshifters but I prefer the looks of the M095's on this bike, it's a cleaner look.
Will take it out for a test ride today before picking up another GT bike later today. Can I ever have enough bikes?
