Retro Newbie
Hi, new here!

Clearing out my house and I've a bike I need to get rid of. It's got some sentimental value (my first 'proper' bike and got years of use out of it) & so rather than take to the tip had a google to see if there's anyone out there that may allow it (or parts of it) to live on in some form, & came across you guys.

Some parts have been replaced - front chainset isn't the elliptical original, & front cantilever brakes had to be replaced along with some repair to the front fork, one new rim, peddles gone). Believe the rest are original Deore. Condition... a bit battered! pics below.

It'd be collection only (Glasgow) - any interest let me know

100% there will be someone who could make good use of this. You may need to state clearly in your listing if this is free or if it has a price, otherwise it might get locked by moderators.

I assume it's free? If so you could change the title to Karma and that would attract more attention, there's nothing more attractive to Retro Biker than Free retro bike stuff, it's just too damn hard to ignore!!! 😜 🤣

If you are leaving it here, you need a price. I would say, given collection only, you will wait a while to sell and £60 or thereabouts would be a fair ball park.

Yep, free (well, bottle of red would be nice, but not precious!). can't find an edit button to change the title tho......

I wonder if you can't edit it because you don't have enough posts yet? You should be able to edit your original post on the bottom left of the post itself. If you can then it's the top left bit when editing (next to the title field) that you need to update as this screen grab shows:

Och - will see how we go. If it gets locked / deleted, will just stick back on with the correct formatting, assuming that's not also a faux pas ;)

Appreciate the help from you & highland
