The Marin stuff was made in Taiwan with Tange tubing. The MTxxxx might not even indicate the same factory here.

Yes, it is not certain that it's the same factory. Hopefully some more examples will come out of the woodwork.

Well here’s something to add; my soon to be built ‘93 Pro Racing

Ritchey tubes and all that jazz
Serial number F2088788


And as I’ve took those photos I’ve just realised it has a ******* hole in the underside of the chainstay
