Hi there! I am trying to save this Cannodale frame while it has stripped BB threads on the drive side. Since I'm in the US, I'm wanting to see what the best path forward would be if I'm to attempt your fix myself or if I need to go to a machinist. Wanted to know more about the whole process before I start pulling triggers on purchases. Any insight you can offer is appreciated!

Hi jD, nice score on the camo Toad! Have you done any restoration work on it, or are you just planning on leaving it original? I'm on Vancouver Island as well, so it's always nice to hear of another classic mtb surfacing locally. :)

Hello Shamus yes it was a great score. I was pretty excited to get this bike i’ve been collecting parts I have the drivetrain and brakes nos xt m730 and plan to run bullseye hubs and cranks if I can get some I also have first GEN syncros post and a short syncros stem which makes it really nice to ride I live in Campbell River. Hi John , are you still interested in the Zaskar frame , but please be aware that the drive side thread of the bottom bracket will no long hold and because of the width of the BB on this frame there is not a frame saver BB available that I know of !
