Zoom Suspension Bars

I've stumbled on to something, not exactly sure what it is. I was checking out a little Rocky Mountain for Thundrrr Jr, and happened to see this stashed in a corner.
I believe they've never been installed, you can see the sticker from the shop where he acquired it when the owner liquidated. The original elastomers are crisp, delicious little mints
The seller said he believes that they predate the Flexx stems, but I can find no information to corroborate. Does anyone have any tips, history, or leads on them? I'd love to hear it.
As for these, I believe their NOS status is destined to be spoiled, they will go perfectly on a chromo Nishiki tourer I'm slowly building

I thought that too but would need gripshift installed for him to take notice , wouldnt it be great if a version existed that was flexstem too?
