Definaltely Sir, I have an offer of a set from Mr Longbone, just waiting on a rise on the bank balance after it was emptied for goose and pigs-in-blankets.

Come Royal mail sorting the backlog I will be ordering some paint pens too and brushing up on my artistic skills to try and reproduce the Flowers.

The stash of parts are building

I luckily had some Deore XT parts sat in the shed in quite a sorry state so few weeks ago I set at them with some fine wet & dry and some metal polish, definately worth it and saves a wad of cash on shiney new XT parts.

Short rear derailleur, came out nice.

As did the XT crank arms, now fitted with Tioga Outer and Granny chainrings, having to settle for a stronglight for the middle until an affordable Tioga comes along.... Thanks to Hamster for supplying me the Big ring

And some XT Thumbies, these had rough top caps so I put out feelers and Big thanks to MatBH5, I got some minty NOS ones, well chuffed.

And a Mavic headset in black, little bit scratched up but Bearings are great and period correct as used on the Jo burt Zinn.

and now Zinn ready with the decal removed......

Small Update

Thank you Longun, Magura Hydro-stop brakes arrived T'other day so I set too sprucing them up on me day off

one of them had siezed up so took em apart to get the cylinder freed up.

may as well give them a new coat of matt black while theyre apart.

As you can see, looking much better for it.

New decals from Gil

Probably wont get the hose fitted and bled until I get the frame back but so far so good.
