Re:

Pretty crazy how low that sold for.

A Zinn frame, or a Zaskar frame for the same money?

I know which one I'd go for.

Re:

When it's in your size and you didn't see it.
I can't believe how low this went for, somehow I missed this on my occasional ebay search for products, at that price I would have made contact and arranged collection somehow. Oh well, next time................

It is in a very narrow band of desirability

Most who have been after these will already have one and probably a better model

The cost in making this one better will still be prohibitive to many given the price and availability of the 'correct' groupset or at least something akin to correct - Mavic and Campagnolo off-road kit has just gone up and up. Good quality Sachs wasnt exactly widely available then let alone now.

And theres nothing wrong with a Zaskar, they both have their place in the MTB world.

*its not the best finished of examples either, not when compared to what has been on Retrobike

Re:

I’ve just refurbed a lower end Zinn Classic and built it up with bits out of the parts bin! I’ll be honest set up single speed it’s a great little ripper! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it so far
