Wiggle had awful trouble shifting their stock of these, by the time they got to the last few I think they were charging something daft like £250.

£250...really!! I know they are an update but I think they are a great take on the classic.

i paid more than that in 2006 for my NOS 94 USA built RTS frame. if it was smaller, i might be tempted.

Yes, considering the modern day front end. GT never built any production 22" c-c aluminum frames over the years.

Hi all- In my opinion the reason these didn't sell well is because they received bad reviews early on about shoddy craftsmanship and the likes. Combine that with the fact that they were spec'd with integrated headset tubes just kind of killed it for some of the nostalgic and smarter buyers. I read this on the Chris King site a while ago:

Kind of cool that they were re-designed for 100mm shocks though!
Just go buy an old one....
