We all love pics, but moving pics with sound, even better right?

Who's got a youtube channel? I know @d8mok has and @MSYT does... Anyone else?

I've started doing some crappy shorts, only off my phone.

Not looking for critique as I know they're crap compared to most, just wanting to document parts as I sift through, and finally put a build together.

Hit me up, like and subscribe for updates! 🥱

Yes I’ve got a YouTube which I did a few videos for during lockdown but not much since.

Recently I’ve started to try to build it up , buts YouTube seems very slow compared to Instagram or FB for me gaining followers or even getting decent views.

I’ve started to go down the more “freestyle” approach rather than videos of builds simply because they only take a few minutes to do.

I should have documented and had someone decent edit some videos when I was buying hundreds of bikes a year as that would have made good viewing but now I’m only doing the odd build here and there.

I may have a channel 👀

Scaled it back a lot now though. It really takes too much time and money haha.

Is youtube dead then? Am I late to the party?

I'm just using my phone, sticking to shorts. I don't have the time for commentary, multiple camera angles and editing. Short, simple and pop on a good song.

No I don’t think so. Lots of people still have success. Bikes are very niche though. Shorts do seem a good way to build a following at the moment though. You’ve just got to work out what it takes to be viral if you want that 😅

Not interested in being youtube famous, just a bit of content for us in our niche. Of course it's nice to get a like and a follower or 10k!

Just get the uploads going in that case! I’ve pretty much done that and it’s been a slow journey but I do just like sharing a hobby.

I think YouTube is still going strong. But it’s a little saturated

No different to instagram I guess but I was a little lucky that I gained followers / views via the fb groups I run.
