Your best place to ride / have ever ridden

you can only get in there when they run races as its a clay shooting area, Soggy Bottom Race in Feb i think

I might just have to visit it one day, be good to ride that circuit :D

The Marin trail in Wales is simply breathtaking. Beautiful scenery.

Grizedale forest and surrounding areas has mega amounts of trails (walkers routes, if you're naughty, are even better) and I've never done the same route twice in a decade.

A nice quiet, but very tame local ride is Gisburn forest. Lovely for night riding or a proper Sunday morning blast.

I prefer the more natural flowing singletrack, as opposed to the manmade north shore inspired breed of trails. Why do they put off-camber wet wooden bridges in the middle of a perfect piece of singletrack? It makes me fall off!

Santa Cruz, California is where I do most of my riding.

I've got several trails that I can ride out my front door too that are fun, but nothing to get too excited about.

Well I'm not expecting anyone to have heard of let alone ridden my favourites but I'll post them anyway.

My favourite trails and the best I've ridden anywhere are in the Dial Range behind my home town of Penguin on the NW Coast of Tasmania.

Hardly anyone rides there and apart from a few locals not many people even know there are trails there, which I suppose is part of the attraction. The terrain varies from white gravel to really orange clays, and rich brown dirt which farmers dream of while the vegetation varies from dryer gums to real rain forest stuff, with numerous creek crossings. In a ways its fairly simliar to selected parts of NZ.

Some are getting a little overgrown, but there's just enough riders to keep most of the undergrowth in check.

There are also some excellent trails on the West Coast of Tassie that not many people know about too, with a similar feel, but they stay wet for most of the year.

If anyone makes it to Tasmania with their bike, I happy to take them riding on the best bits. ;)

Houffalize, belgium. Especially the Worldcup circuit, and even much better the "older 11 km circuit back in 1996)

But that's only once a year.....

But the Ardennes will do :), or de Veluwe......

That was an awesome look circuit on the TV, I'm dead jealous you've ridden it :x

A singletrack that we stumbled across from the top of Mont Chery (Les Gets) into the back of Morzine - its got a bit of everything and would have to be my 'Ground Hog day'.

Whistler next year though, so things could very well change! :D

Nothing really stands out for me. I just love riding off road any were every were. But i did like racing at Blandford forum and Salisbury plain BITD oh and Malvans classic. :D
