That's cool. We all have our preferences that help us make our choice.
For me one of the big ones is it has to be a bike, and if you can't ride it, it's not a bike! Don't forget the pedals!!

Just out of interest though, which bike that won BoTY are you referring to that was bought not built? The Mantis that won this (last) year passes for me as a build. Check the paint. :shock:

De-lace a Disk Drive and you've got the kevlar cord, a nice Bullseye chainset for the reel - the lugs and the rest of the crap could go in the skip or be used to make tent poles or a fishing stool or something...
