I wouldn't do that: not for a softride.

If it was one of my dream bikes, i'd hale the wife from a distant part of the house, take no excuses that she was half way through something, and make her marvel at said bike, explain to the most minute detail the workings of it, the history, development of it.

Sorry - should have said; I would have done that. I've recently been banned from talking about bikes to her, said she'd had enough.
