Nice machine you have there!!! 😍

I remember Recycle. Were they in Penge? Cool shop and love the 2nd hand parts/exchange they offered.

I took my Bullseye chainset in and traded it in for a new splined XTR chainset & BB circa 1995/96?

I still remember the guy saying "we'll give you a bullseye for your Bulleye" £50 in non-cockney slang! ;)

Nice!
Does it deserve a service?
- Check chain length, if too long then replace chain & possibly cassette.
- New cables & hoses.
- Remove BB, steerer tube & seatpost, check tube internals. If ok, generous spray of linseed oil inside the tubes, and close up.
- Fork service, new seals and lubrication.
- Regular clean & polish.

by 'chain length' I of course mean chain stretch, whether it is worn. not number of links.

Recycle was an amazing shop. Vince, the owner, was also the importer for stuff like Chuck and some lovely Canadian stuff like DeKerf. Tim Davis (not that one) was their star sales person and expert racer at Beastway, he also used to work at Magic Bikes in Whitechapel. I bought my Fat Ti from them in 1995 I think, and a lot more besides.
